Winners of "Still Life" Competition Selected

In January, members of the club submitted a single photo for our intra-club monthly competition. This month the theme was "Still Life".  Our competitions are judged by a trained judge from the Photographic Society of America.  We have two levels of competition based on experience. In Group A, the more experienced members,  Peter Riekstins was awarded first place for his image entitled "Laboratory."  Michelle Tinger came in second place with her image "Autumn Still Life" and Mogens Hermansen was awarded the third-place ribbon for "A Bon Appetit".

In the B Division, the less experienced members, Dorothy Simone Foley was awarded the blue ribbon for "Remember When." Doug Wood took second place wit his image entitled "Thy Word" and Brian Koonce was awarded third place for his image "Darth Vader Figure."   Congratulations to all of the winning photographers and a thank you to all of the members who entered this month.  Up next in April: Night Photography.
